BENEFITS OF JOINING ALBANY ASGA
1. Abundant opportunities to golf and socialize with fun loving singles...our friends in ASGA are like a second family to many of us. There's a steady stream of single people to meet and enjoy through regular golf play and social interaction. This is the primary benefit to the member.
2. At least one monthly formal golf outing with from May through October
3. Informal golf outings almost every weekend during the golf season
4. Many nongolf events throughout the year such as house parties, weekly Friday gatherings, dinner outings, movies, Saratoga track outing, and lots more.
5. A group of dedicated officers (local and national) and committee members who work very hard to plan and organize golf and social events for everyone.
6. There are over 70 ASGA clubs throughout the USA where you would always be welcome to participate in any of their events should you happen to be visiting that area.
7. You will receive a monthly newsletter which contains all our local news about upcoming and past events as well as news from the National organization.
8. Our local chapter receives $10.00 from each new member’s dues and from each renewal.
9. You can attend National Multi-Chapter outings held throughout the year at top notch golf resorts for bargain prices. All of us who have attended multi-chapter events have really enjoyed them.
The cost to join ASGA is $70.00 a year. Subtracting the $10.00 that comes back to our local chapter leaves $60.00. Divided by 12, that equals only $5.00 a month. What a deal! National dues are transferable in case a member moves to a different city.
